Hotel Facilities
An ideal location to explore County Clare while remaining close to Shannon Airport. This hotel now has free car parking, sauna and a steam room to make the stay here more enjoyable. (TM03.07) An old style building that almost looks more like a country pub than a hotel. The hotel is located very close to Shannon Airport on the road into Limerick. |

Oak Wood Arms was a short cab ride (10euro) from Shannon Airport and convenient for me to meet up with my group that was arriving the next day. The pub was lively and had many locals, there was a Mc Donalds right next store and a mall within short walking distance. Rooms are older and on first floor had to listen to people walking above me on the second floor. Bathroom needs remodeling old shower and sink. Breakfast was included. Overall I would stay again. |

We had a false fire alarm from 5am onwards; no rebate offered. Otherwise, no bad value so near to Shannon, though the place does sprawl and you haul luggage for miles. Nice breakfast. |

Our room rate included a full Irish breakfast and we got a bowl of cereal and coffee after tracking someone down to for the coffee. Since this was a regular occurance at this hotel, it seems they had many options to make it better than it was. The room itself was very nice and the blackout draperies were appreciated when going to bed before the Irish summer long days had ended. |

After a really long flight - Eugene, Oregon to Chicago, to Heathrow to Shannon, we were really tired and found the room was very welcoming and comfortable, plus the wholehotel gives one the old world charm feeling. |

Great location to Shannon Airport. Great place to stay either in or out of Shannon. Rooms very clean & comfortable. |
