The Crown Plaza Hotel Amsterdam Schiphol Was very friendly and a great value.The room and pool offset the disadvantage that the hotel was quite a distance from Amsterdam.Even though I would still recommend this hotel

  An airport hotel with spa.
 

I just needed a hotel in Amsterdam close to the airport for an over night transfer back home to the US. I chose the Crowne Plaza- Schizpol because it was just that, close. The shuttle , although complementary only oone way, had us at the hotel in less than 10 minutes. The room, beds, linens and facilities were all top or boutique hotel class. But the best part was the sparkling indoor heated pool, sauna and exercise room. Just the right thing to combat jet lag. Good room service and a first run

While we were very satisfied from the hotel, we were some what surprised to pay EUR 5.00 each for the transfer back to Schipol Airport Terminal. This serice is usally provided free of charge by other airport hotels.

  Great Hotel.....Wonderful Breakfast!
 

I felt very welcome at this hotel. The check-in personnel were very cordial and efficient. When I called Housekeeping to request a couple bottles of drinking water, a staff member showed up at our door barely two minutes after I hung up the phone. Everyone I encountered who worked at this hotel was very pleasant and accomodating. The rooms were clean and very much like an American Crown Plaze hotel. Although I did not partake of the evening dinner buffet, it looked great! The breakfast

The location is very conveninet to the airport and the shuttle bus service was timely and comfortable. The hotel room was American-sized. The room had nice features for clothes storage. There was a nice assortment of personal care products. The hairdryer had a very gentle heat setting. The complimentary breakfast was very generous and there was a wide variety of choices.
