The Econo Lodge South motel was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly. The coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave were very useful. The location in Morro Bay was perfect - no traffic noise and congestion. A good view of Morro Bay Rock! The morning continental breakfast could improve however. Packedged rolls not so good, coffee, orange juice ok. |

The Econo Lodge was fantastic. The room was very clean, quiet, and had some basic ammenities like soap, shampoo, nice towels, and a coffee maker. The vanity area was separate from the bathroom. There were several windows to let in fresh marine air and light during the day. I would recommend the queen bedded room for a lone traveler or a couple. The rooms here are clean and have a nice beach decor. The location of this hotel is great. It is close to all of the shops and restaurants in Morro Bay. The hotel is also dog friendly for those of you who like to bring your dog along on trips. When you stand in the parking lot of this hotel the view is nice. You can see the ocean and Morro Bay Rock. |

Great location with a lovely view of Morro Bay and rock. Easy walk to Embarcadero and dining. I would stay here again. |
