OverviewThe hotel stands in a privileged location in the center of Barcelona. Only a few meters from Paseo de Gracia and very close to Las Rambias, the hotel is situated on a pedestrian avenue with a wide variety of shops and boutiques that connects Plaza Catalunya with the entrance to the Gothic Quarter.It is a pleasure to enter the Catalonia Albinoni and admire its Neoclassical beauty. The building has been added to the Artistic Heritage Catalogue of the city. Pedro Bassegoda y Mateu built this small palace in 1876, and in 1998 it opened its doors as a hotel. The hotel still preserves its original Neoclassical facade which features Romantic and Baroque motfis. The entry hall, which would be large enough to let in the carriages from the beginning of the country , leads us to the interior courtyard that has been renovated according to the original model. The hotel reception and bar are currently in this courtyard . There we can admire the original marble staircase, typical of the finest house of those times. Enjoy our breakfast buffet served under a unique marquee in the hotel garden patio. New exterior swimming pool. Enjoy its overflowing waterfall, as well as the exterior solarium with wood surface and a landscaped zone with palms. A new restaurante is now open at Catalonia Albinoni.
