Great location
The Hampton Inn Colonnade is convenient for those who want to shop at The Summit or dine at the many restaurants along 280. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and provided excellent directions, which I always appreciate. The hotel was clean, and my room was reasonably quiet (4 on a sclae of 5). The breakfast buffet was good. I will stay at this hotel on my next trip to Birmingham.

ok, but not great
I found the room to be very cramped. It was clean enough, but I hate having a coffe maker in the bathroom! The room had low ceilings, small window and felt very claustrophobic. The location was convenient and the breakfast bar was good.
