The room is overpriced. The fitness room consisted of on old exercise bike. The pool was small and had way to much chlorine. The hotel door wouldnt work on the first room. I would not stay there again.

The pool was very cold, the hot tub too much of something (chlorine) was in it. The bedroom was nice but the bath room needed to be recaulked badley, the floor of the tub was coming up so you felt like you were taking a shower on a water bed and the water would not come through the shower head that well. Other than that the staff was very nice.

I pictured the Ramada as a very classy motel, but was disillusioned... I thought $5.00 for a breakfast buffet was over the line. The food didnt look worth that at all. Also wasnt aware that they were under construction!!! Did not care for my room to have the only window overlook the pool!!

Interesting array of clients - facility has basics, rooms okay but hallway to get there was dated and could use change - quiet though at night which was what we were looking for - minimally what we expected but nothing more.

The Ramada Northwest DesMoines was extemely easy to find. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel has an outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool with hot tub. I was surprised that we had 2 doors in our room, one leading directly outside and the other to the interior halls of the hotel. This actually was handy because we could park our car right outside of our room. I liked that the room had an individual thermostat so the temperature was constant verses rooms at other places wit
