Great business hotel
A great alternative to staying in the NYC area. The LIRR is right outside the hotel door and very convenient. The rooms are large and well appointed. A few signs of age, such as he very small TV, the in wall room heater, and some mold in the BR, were evident. However, all in all, I highly recommend this hotel, which is in a great area.

Nice Neighborhood & hotel, a bit pricey though
The Garden City Hotel staff were generally friendly, the rooms (public and private) were attractive and clean. Food was a bit pricey, and I was surprised that in order to use the internet there was a daily fee that was high enough that it seemed inappropriate, especially given the price of the room.
