The Waikiki Gateway Hotel offers the highest value by including FREE high speed Ethernet Internet access in every room, and free daily continental breakfast, all at very affordable rates. There is absolutely no smoking in the rooms including on the lanai. Please see the front desk for the designated smoking areas. Effective immediately, a cleaning fee of $200.00 + tax will be assessed if it is found that the guest smokes in the room. Effective April 1, 2007, valet parking charges will be $15.71 per day with in and out privileges. |

This was my first time in Hawaii. I get there, the down stairs and everything is great. HOWEVER, once you make it to your floor it smells like cat pee. That hotel is so disgusting, not to mention half of the time my door would not open, the elevator got stuck, and the staff was rude and disrespectful. The house keepers would come in and throw some of my stuff away because it was in their way. I will never, EVER stay at the gateway again. I would rather spend a little more money than stay at this |

There were holes in the walls, stains on the ceiling and on the carpet. The room was in need of a paint job. As I was checking in a woman came to the counter and told the clerk that her room was so bad that her and her husband where checking out. She was right. This hotel is a dump! |

The hotel room was adequate with two double beds. The bathroom was clean. Only two sets of towels were available for the three of us, but they supplied another set upon request. The continental breakfast was okay, but skimpy. |

parking was $9.37 per day however it was valet parking only. you were not able to park your car yourself although the parking spaces were on the same floor. everytime you went out you had to tip the valet person. the parking structure was closed froom 1am to 6am. what is there was an emergency? construction was going on in the lobby and elevator area also. would not recomment to other visitors. |

The service was top notch. The room was every thing we hoped for, but the con. breakfast was lacking substance, no egg nor cereal toast and juice does not make a breakfast. |
