This Rodeway Inn at the Jacksonville Airport is a slum!! There were people in and out of the rooms on either side and all around in and out at all hours of the night. A couple of times people knocked on our door asking for somebody. One was at 4AM. When we got up at 5AM to get ready to catch our flight there were people coming in the parking lot, going into rooms for 5 minutes and leaving. The room was dirty, and, the bathroom was terrible. If at all possible avoid this hotel.

This room had to be the filthiest room I have ever stayed at anywhere in the US. The shower curtain was covered with mold. They provided ONE computer near the lobby that had a High Speed connection which the kids liked to tie up while playing their games. The Internet access was limited to fifteen minutes per user. Upon checking in at around 1:00am. The front doors were locked. After knocking on the doors, we had to show and ID through a dirty and smudged window before being let in. There were very scary looking people walking around on the side streets and main road by the hotel. There was a closed boarded-up restaurant connected to the hotel. The Rodeway Inn was not very inviting. The night stand was very dirty and the overall cleaniliness of the room was unsatisfactory. The toilet was stained. The bed was uncomfortable. It was conveniently located near the Jacksonville airport, but there are many other hotels on the same road to choose from.

The location was very near the airport, which was very important because we had an early flight in the morning. We were very worn out and fell asleep early. I worked for several hours on my computer and the work space was useful and convenient. I was able to work without disturbing my sleeping son.

Excellent value for $. Property needs update both interior and exterior, but location and price are excellent. Minimal continental bk.,room amenities.
