The Best Western Thunderbird was disappointing. The hot tub was barely lukewarm. The beds (in both of our rooms) were damp, and the rooms in general had an unpleasant odor of mildew. The restaurant was actually a little room that had breakfast available from 6:30-9:30am only. It was not open for lunch or dinner. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very professional and friendly. The location is close to Mackinac City making for a nice vacation. The price was great considering the Fourth of July holiday. |

The Best Western Thunderbird was much nicer than expected. The price they charged for a whirpool room made us think something would be wrong. We were greeted warmly, check was quick, the room was spacious and clean. They were soldout for the night, but it was quiet around the place. Breakfast included waffles, prepared and served by the staff. More than enough to eat. All things concidered, a great deal! |
