The Days Inn and Suites at Kill Devil Hills was a nice experience. When we first checked in we were in a regular room and were not very impressed. We asked for an upgrade and were moved to a suite. It was a major positive change and it really helped create a great vacation experience. Having the extra room (for my snoring!) as well as the full refrigerator and stove, made the extended stay a great time for all four of us. The Days Inn Mariner was perfect for couples. The hotel room was clean and well kept. The beach was right across the street from the room we were in although they have ocean side rooms as well. Shopping and dining are in easy access and there is plenty to choose from. The outerbanks in genernal is a perfect place for families, however this particular hotel is perfect for couples. We had a perfect long weekend get-away without spending too much money and yet away from reality for a few days!

The Days Inn Mariner is located right on the beach. When we were there, that area of the beach was not nearly as crowded as other spots...that was very nice, especially considering it was Memorial Day weekend. The room was spacious, but the mattresses were very hard and not very comfortable. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Kill Devil Hills-Days Inn Mariner was a geat place to stay for a very relaxing 4th of July extended weekend. The pool is right behind the hotel and access to the beach just beyound the pool. It was a very hot weekend and the room air conditioner kept the room very cool and pleasant for those breaks from the heat and sun. Storms each evening kept the ocean water cold. It was difficult to swim very long because of this but the pool water was very refreshing. the hotel is located on the beach
