The room was so small that you could hardly move around. The water in the shower would run hot for a while and then cold for a while. The water in the bathroom sink would drain very slowly. Some previous guest had knocked the commode sideways on the floor. The carpet in the hallway had many stains. The window AC/Heating unit had numerous bird droppings on the outside of it.

The staff were very friendly. I would have liked to have a warm pool on the premises. The amenities seemed a little dated.

The Days Inn Kill Devil Hills was a very comfortable hotel. We stayed in a standard room with two double beds. It was very comfortable. We have two children, who just loved the beach. We visited in the off season and found plenty of room on the beach to explore and collect sea shells. We found this hotel to be a good value. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
