Oceanfront hotel.. The Quality Inn John Yancy is perfectly located on North Carolina's Outer Banks, close to many popular area attractions. This Kill Devil Hills hotel is just minutes from the Wright Brothers National Memorial, North Carolina Aquarium, Oregon Inlet, Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Fort Raleigh National Historic Site. The Outer Banks area is home to many beautiful beaches. Additional attractions include the Bodie Island Lighthouse, Lost Colony Outdoor Drama and Pirates Cove Marina. Albemarle Sound is nearby for sailing, boating, jet skiing and fishing. Enjoy hang gliding at Jockey's Ridge State Park. A variety of shops, restaurants are nearby.Pet Accommodation: 25.00/stay. The Qualit Inn was a bit run down. Being on the ocean the properties take a beating but the owners of this property seem to be a few years behind on maintenance. The back slider would not lock. The toilet ran after flushing. Lights between the 2 beds didnt work. The morning coffee was excellent. |

The view was amazing, hotel staff was very nice and very willing to help. The king size bed was huge and was very comfortable. But the pillows do need some updating, they were slightly uncomfortable. The room was a very nice size and it was extremely comfortable! I STONGLY recommend! |

THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND THE ROOMS WERE VERY NICE. THE LOCATION WAS GREAT. WE WILL STAY THERE THE NEXT TIME WE ARE IN KILL DEVIL HILLS |
