I was VERY disappointed when I arrived. The room was filthy with critters included. I will never stay there again and I would not recommend them to anyone else. |

I visit Jamaica at least twice a year and FootePrints on the Sand was the worst place I have ever stayed at in Negril, Jamaica. There were a few incidents about this hotel that I truly just didnt like/appreciate. I arrived at the hotel around noon. Upon arrival I had to wait for them to finish cleaning the room. When I entered the room, it had a funny smell to it. They had used a dirty mop to clean the floor. I used some of my bathroom cleanser wipes to go over the entire floor, which left |

The anemities that was offered like the jacuzzi was broken, ihad a lizard in my room(i felt like that could have been avoided with a screen door), the balcony was small, my toilet kept running, and the men were way too pushy and women were cold. My massage was quick and the facilities were not encouraging to the atmosphere. The veiw from the beach and dining room was nice though. It was ok just not a great experience. I was bored, there was no hotel entertainment or games or nothing |

I love the fact that this hotel is right on the beach. However, the room was not up to the standard I would have expected, it could do with a renovation. The closets while large were outdated and appeared run down, the beds were way too small. The bathroom was inadequate and the air condition failed to keep the room kewl due to the high ceiling, perhaps a more powerful airconditioning unit would suffice. |

The hotel was built in "84", general upkeep was fair. my shower faucet, the selector handle was stripped so adjusting from hot to cold was hard to do. Depending on time of day water pressure was sometimes very little General use hot tub, had a lot of algae and sand it. The restaurant had pretty good food, but things a simple as coffee were rather expensive $1.50 US per cup. Taxis were cheaper to flag your self, 200 JA to downtown Negril, hotel charged 600 JA for same ride with same taxi. |

The hotel is located on the beach, it was clean and the staff was very friendly. I just expected more in terms of the decor and comfort of the room. It was clean and I felt safe but I think the hotel would be recieved better by guest if they would upgrade the quality of the furniture. What I found most relaxing is that I could hear the waves crashing on the beach from my room,so it was nice to go to sleep to that sound. |

I felt very at home at Foote Prints, I especially love the fact that there was a stove and fridge along with pots, pans, cups saucer etc, the only suggestion is that we had an iron and the outlet was not equipped for our iron cord but otherwise everything was great* |

This is the second time back to this hotel. It really captures the TRUE Jamaican experiance. Very cozy and intimate. Very personal. Nothing like those all inclusives that shelter you from the real experiance. If you visit Jamaica, you must stay here. Talk to the staff, they are more than friendly and will always guide you to the happenings for the night. Never a dull moment, and the beach is beautiful. |
