The hotel staff was not pleasant at all. They made things more difficult and confusing. The food was okay at best. Overall, I rate this hotel a 3 out of 10 being the best. |

This was our eighth trip to Jamaica and twentieth to Caribbean. We always stay at all inclusive resorts. Of all resorts visited the Riu Tropical Bay has the worst service. It appeared to us all the help provided was the minimum in customer service to insure their future employment. There were a few exceptions to this but over all that was our experience. Check in and check out was painless. Rooms were adequate but nothing special. This also included honeymoon suite. Maid service was ok a |

Hotel upkeep and room were both excellent. Rooms were clean with no bugs. However, found staff to be somewhat unfriendly and quality of food needs improvement. |
