Worst experience of my life!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The White Sands Hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The rooms are filthy, small, and the a/c does not work! Most of the property is not beach side, it is across a very busy and dangerous street. There are are beach side rooms, there are no ocean front or ocean view rooms. There is no TV. It was in a dangerous neighborhood where you get stared at for being a tourist. There are no wash cloths and you have to fight them to get more than 1 towel. The hotel staff are not nice. Felt very

Although the rooms were clean enough they have not done any upgrades in awhile. We had to argue over two more bath towels at the front desk. We certainly did not get a welcome feel from the moment of check in. We ended up leaving after the first night. This hotel has NO beach front rooms...another reason for leaving...the bar staff also were not very friendly.

Location was great but the room was so so. A TV would have been nice.

White Sands Negril has a great friendly staff. The rooms were clean and it was very quiet and laid back. On the down side the AC did not work to well. Hot water would run out after about 5 minutes. The food grill would not open till late and closed about 3:00. They make good food and you can run a tab for your room. If you need to go to the front desk to make a call or if you want to go to there gift shop, You have to walk across a very busy road. All and All it is a good place to stay if you

This hotel is a good value for the location. The staff was courteous, the restraunt food quality was good, but service was poor. The rooms are very clean, but lack amneties(no TV, hairdryer, shampoo, smallcloset). The property is located on the beach and across the street from the beach, which is considered the garden view. Crossing the street involves caution.

The White Sands Negril Resort was everything I anticipated. Being in Negril, the only use I needed for a room was to lay my head down at night, snack, and minimal downtime from the intense heat. The rooms were cleaned daily and provided new sheets and towels daily. There was no TV which was a nice change from my common and daily life, but I would suggest bringing an iPOD for some music. The small kitchenette helped to save extra money for nicer dinners, more souveniers, and more tourism around t
