Surprisingly convenient
This was my first time at the hotel, and it was surprisingly convenient to Grand Central (less than a block away), as well as to downtown (two stops to City Hall Plaza on the express Lex Ave. line). Room was decent and the lobby and bars/ restaurants were quite nice.

Nice Location
Great location in midtown, very comfotrable rooms, nice bathrooms and Plasma TVs. Rooms were very clean and toiletries of good quality. Average check in process (somehow on the slow side). Average front desk personnel, very friendly and focused but constant advice from manager to answer simple questions.

Charming
When I got to the hotel with my husband, we were very happy with what we found. The Fitzpatrick met and exceeded most of our expectations of a New York hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was very clean, which is a must for us. The room had more space then what we expected for a New York hotel room and it was very cozy. The bed was sink in soft. The pub was great. We will surely come back to the Fitzpatrick.

Great location
This hotel was conveniently situated next to Grand Central, which made it easy to catch a train or the subway. While the room was quite small, it was very clean and well-appointed. Also, I would have preferred a better view than looking down into the interior of an office building. TBut the staff was extremely helpful and courteous.
