We checked into the hotel after arriving in Phoenix early in the morning. The hotel does not make a good first impression and it goes downhill from there. The room was small although it had been recently redecorated. The new decor was ultra modern but on the cheap side. The hotel itself, is really just a motel. There is no lobby to speak of and no elevator. The property is surrounded by industrial buildings. After spending one night, we checked out the next morning. Some people might want to |

The main problem with the 3 Palms Resort Oasis is that they charge resort prices for a facility that is not a resort, in my book at least. It is an expensively redecorated motel with a pool and an exercise room surrounded by a stree and a non-descript parking lot. It does benefit from being across the street from a public park, but unlike any place I have stayed that I would call a resort, it does not have any attractive indoor or outdoor lounge areas, any dining facilities or anything like a |

This property was very well maintained and attractive. The location was good. The room had many amenities, but was quite small. The price seemed quite high. It felt like a glorified motel rather than a resort. |

I was disapointed with the small size of the King and Double Queen bedded rooms. The internet service had to be reset multiple times during our stay. There is a fridge, safe, microwave and CD player stuffed under the TV in the Entertainment Center. There was not a whole lot of space to put clothes. The location was good with a Shopping Mall across the street and also a park next door to the Hotel. The name is deceiving because 3 Palms was Motel before it became a Hotel. Three Palms Oasis, Scottsdale, AZ sounds like a wonderful Oasis in Scottsdale. I was very disappointed and refused to stay there. Where I drove up, I wondered where the got the name "Three Palms". It was along a busy street, with lots of traffic sound, and construction going on in the next building. The pool was postage stamp size. It was noisy and uninviting. The front desk people were nice, and the rooms might have been OK, but I was looking for a get-away and that was not it! |

The property was overpriced and generally had a poor level of service. Cleaning of rooms and public areas was inadequate and inconsistent. There was no elevator to second floor rooms. Internet service was down for several hours. I was not notified of packages or faxes sent to me and, when I asked about the fax at the desk, they said it had been sent to the room. It never showed up. For many reasons, I cannot recommend this property. |
