Hotel Facilities

- Built in 1907 by Italian stonemasons Hotel La Rose is one of the Historic Hotels of America. The hotel was registered on the National Trust for Historic Places and renovated in 1985. Improvements are ongoing and you will find conveniences in all 47 guestrooms such as two-line telephones with voicemail and data ports- high-speed internet access- cable televisions- marble and brass bathrooms- some with whirlpool tubs- 19 rooms surrounding the rose garden courtyard each have their own private patio or balcony- and all 47 rooms are individually decorated in the style of a European Bed and Breakfast. You may choose from 10 award-winning restaurants- including Josefs Restaurant and Bar in our lobby- all located within three blocks of the hotels front door. Situated northwest of the intersection of Highway 101 and Highway 12- Hotel La Rose is a convenient gateway to all of Sonoma County.

Each of our guests comes to the Hotel La Rose with particular needs and expectations- and it is our purpose to fulfill them. With two different- but equally well-appointed facilities- we are able to offer our guests a choice of the Main Buildings historic elegance and charm or the airy ambience of the Carriage House.

At Hotel La Rose our four conference rooms are all designed to exceed your meeting needs. All rooms have independent environmental controls- telephones and multiple electrical connections to serve state of the art audio-visual equipment. Everything needed for your conference or meeting can be handled without ever leaving the hotel

Hotel La Rose was great. It had the great american feel . Additionally, the beds were sooo comfortable. They were firm to support your body and yet soft so that you just fell into it. The bathroom was also great with the marble tiles and the old school toilet where you pull down to flush. The location is good, but there is really not that much in Downtown Santa Rosa.

The La Rose is inviting and the service is gracious. The bell man who came out to greet me and take care of my luggage and car was friendly and helpful. Parking in the neighborhood is often difficult, but the La Rose has its own parking lot. The bed was extremly comfortable. The restaurant is understatedly formal and the staff was friendly and professional; the food portions were large. The most surprising feature was the European breakfast that included plenty of protein: lox, sliced meat,

The Hotel LaRose was a great find. The staff that greeted us were very helpful. We drove from SF and were tired, they parked our car which was in a convenient location to the hotel. The room was great - was really a suite with separate sitting area. Terrific bed and bath - all the amenities. Historic hotel on Railroad Square. Our room was located on the square. It can get a bit noisy - we are used to city traffic noises so did not bother us. You can always get a room not on the street, b

It was such a pleasure to stay at Hotel La Rose. The staff was wonderful, the room was very nice ("romantic"), good free breakfast, good location. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
