Grand Case is a small fishing village on the Northwest coast of French St Martin. Small wooden pastel-colored houses with elaborate carvings line the village's main road--a captivating effect. Day trips can be taken by ship or plane to the nearby islands of Anguilla, Saba, St. Eustatius, and St. Barthelemy.

The Caribbean climate is always fair and warm. The average year-round temperatures for the area are 78°F - 88°F. The extremes of temperature are 65°F low, 95°F high, but the beaches provide relief on hot days, where water and winds can keep you cool.

The private beach and sitting areas were ideal for sitting and soaking up the sun or reading in the cool evening breeze. We stayed in a garden room that was huge and looked like it had just been renovated. Staff were very friendly - all water equipment is free and there is nice snorkeling just off the beach. Less than a 5 minute walk to get to restaurant row in Grand Case so no rental car is needed unless you want to explore the entire island. Definitely a good value for a very charming hotel!
